Hello again-- October 3rd I don't have a lot of time but, I wanted to say Hi!!!!! I have not been on here a lot lately, it has been pretty busy. Some quick updates, Another Cinderella Story soundtrack and DVD came out. Both have been doing well, thank you all so much for going out and getting the cd and/or DVD, I hope you enjoyed it. I have been back and forth to NY for some press and will be back there soon for a Unicef event. Wizards season 2 should be starting up soon, hope you are all excited for the new episodes. Recently, UNICEF called on Selena to be the official face of their 2008 campaign "Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF." The program works at helping children all across the nation. This is just another one of the many organizations Selena supports and campaigns for.

Teen sensation and star of Disney Channel's "Wizards of Waverly Place," Selena Gomez, was recently named spokesperson for the 2008 Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign. This October will mark the 58th anniversary of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF -- encouraging American children to make Halloween count by helping other children around the world...

Last week she told MTV, "I'm going to be in a band — no Selena Gomez stuff. I'm not going to be a solo artist. I think that I don't want my name attached to it." She also said this about her decision to form a band:

“We plan on holding auditions in Hollywood, and in the meantime I will be in the studio recording some of the songs. As far as actual band members right now, we do not have any, but it is getting closer and closer and I am really excited to be in the studio...”
