Hey guys, by now I'm sure most of you know that my voice is gone and that I had to cancel some of my upcoming shows. After my 2 week promo tour with Joey I started to feel pain in my throat from talking too much. As soon as I came home I went to see my doctor and he said that I had damaged my vocal chords and that I had acid reflex (probably from pickles). He put me on medication and wanted to see me in a few days. When I went back my voice had gotten much worse. He then told me that I had to cancel my shows and be on vocal rest for a week. I felt so horrible that I couldn't perform. I begged the doctor to give me more medication to last me through these shows, he said if I went I could lose my voice completely and have permanent damage. I had to give up and agree to not go but I WILL make it up. We are doing the best we can to reschedule all of the shows and I will do a 2 hour meet and greet in each city that I missed when I come back into town. We are also trying to see who was planning on coming to the shows so we can give you all tickets to the rescheduled shows. I am SO sorry about all of this and really hope I can see you all when I'm better.

The show in Columbus, OH has already been rescheduled for November 6th.

Lilith Fair Tour in Holmdel, NJ 7/31 and Hartford, CT 8/01

If you had tickets to the Wednesday night concert with Selena Gomez at the State Fair, it has been cancelled. Selena has cancelled her show at the Delaware State Fair Wednesday night because of strained vocal chords. She’s been ordered by her doctor to rest and not to fly for the next week. People who purchased tickets through the State Fair will be able to get a full refund. Allstar Weekend will perform a free concert in her place on Wednesday night beginning at 7:30 pm in the Wilmington Trust Grandstand. This show is open to anyone and no ticket will be required.

Selena Gomez's next album, "A Year Without Rain", will include a song written by Katy Perry.

"Katy Perry gave me a song, and she did background vocals on it," she told Hollywood Life. "The whole experience was really fun."

There is no other details concerning the song with Katy Perry, but Selena has said that this next album will focus on her growing up musically. "The title so far of my album — I mean, I'm hoping it will stick — is A Year Without Rain," she said. "It's basically one of my favorite songs on the record. It's kind of got a more feel-good dance beat and feel. I love it. It's different; [it] kind of shows my growth of my music."

She has other favorite songs on the album. "There's a song called 'Intuition' that's one of my favorites. The message is basically every decision that you regret or second-guess, [just] do it [anyway]. I love that message so much."

Not only has she finished songs for the album, the visuals for it are also being completed. "Shot my album artwork for the next record today!" she tweeted a few weeks ago. "Ah, I can't wait for yall to see/hear all the new stuff!"

"America's Got Talent" has announced that Selena Gomez & The Scene will be performing for the first live results show.

Selena Gomez & The Scene will be performing their single "Round & Round", which is the new song off their upcoming album "A Year Without Rain".

"America's Got Talent" starts the Top 48 semifinals on Tuesday, July 13 at 9pm ET on NBC. The first results show will air on Wednesday, July 14 at 9pm.

Selena Gomez is preparing for her last bow on "Wizards of Waverly Place". She announced to MTV that she will be leaving the show at the end of its fourth season, in order to pursue a career in film and music:

"Unfortunately, I’m doing my last season of my show, which I’m really heartbroken about. That’s gonna be a terrible time for me."
